Commercial HVAC and Plumbing Project Manager

East Valley specialty mechanical HVAC and plumbing contractor of 20 years is looking for an HVAC / Plumbing Construction Project Manager. Project range from $1,000,000 to $12,000,000

HVAC and Plumbing Construction Project Manager responsibilities include the following:

• Oversee and direct project management activities to assure standards & profitability are being met.
• Work hands on with field foreman on daily bases to maintain efficient and timely contract closure and job completion.
• Close out and turnover projects with the assistance of in-house service and construction managers.
• Ensure safety and enforce company safety policy.
• Mentor and build team’s moral and knowledge. Note: Position has full authority and expectation to hire and build teams.
• Provide project coordinator with proper paperwork and information to maintain purchasing, invoicing, schedule of values, time tracking, & scheduling.
• In coordination with project coordinator, use ESUB construction software for daily activities and project management.
• Maintain excellent relationship with general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Keep company reputation at a high standard.

Minimum 5 years of Construction Project Management experience.

• Experienced in the installation and construction of most mechanical system applications preferred – to include, but not limited to, all air side and all wet side applications.
• Experienced in the installation and construction of most plumbing system applications preferred. Limited experience will be considered for the position.
• Thorough knowledge of the project life cycle. Taking project from turnover and seeing it through close out.
• Be able to work cohesively with Field Leaders to find best approach for completing projects within schedule and under budget.
• Possess excellent people and organizational skills.
• Lead each project and take ownership for the outcome.
• Extensive financial acumen with the ability to create and review various financial reports.
• Must be a team driven individual.
• Must be a Safety First minded individual advocating for all to perform best safety practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Procore / CMIC.
• Clean Arizona driver license.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Estimating (field or plan) experience is preferred, but not required.
