Crawford Mechanical Alumni Spotlight : Andrew Krueger
Dan & Mamie Krueger had a chance to spend some time with Crawford’s favorite former Service Technician Apprentice, Andrew Krueger! As many of you know, after Andrew graduated from UofA he worked for Crawford in our service department for a couple of years before going to Texas A&M Medical School. He’s just started his 4th year of school and will be graduating May 17, 2025!
His ultimate goal is to become a Level 1 Trauma Surgeon (He will still have 4 more years of school/fellowships before he becomes a trauma surgeon.), and he spent the summer doing three 1-Month rotations at surgical hospitals in Dallas, Portland, and Seattle. After his final rotation in Seattle he and his amazing wife, Autumn, spent a week exploring Canada before meeting up with Dan & Mamie at an AirBNB at the base of Mount Rainier. Andrew and Autumn then proceeded to take Dan & Mamie on (2) different Mount Rainier hikes that the billy goats refused to traverse (check out the pics)! After spending a few days in the mountains, and with the help from some Medivac helicopters, they came down the mountain to spend a few days in beautiful, 75 & sunny Seattle. Andrew & Autumn’s love of the outdoors-snowboarding, skiing, and hiking- has greatly influenced his Surgical Residency selection as his first three location preferences are Seattle, Portland, and Denver. Look for an update next spring when he finds out where he’s going for his residency.
